  • Why State Assembly and not State Senate?
Bertin Lefkovic, 13 years ago. Abusive? Report it!
  • $10? Why, I'd give $20!
Jeff Gardner, 13 years ago. Abusive? Report it!
  • In response to "Why State Assembly and not State Senate?" --- Dana is too young to run for State Senate.
Juan Melli, 13 years ago. Abusive? Report it!
  • Go for it Dana!!!

  • While I don't live in the 25th District, the importance of having dedicated people working for Morris County can't be discounted. The 25th is currently represented by people who's only position is that "it is all the Democrats fault" Dana has shown her dedication to Morris County and has brought more issues and ideas to the table in two years then "the other guys" have in all their years of service combined.

  • I need more than dogma to support somebody. As in, "I don't like Republicans so a Democrat must be the answer."

We need to know what Dana will bring to the table, what is her platform? Is she the most experienced person for the job?

Rather than always talk about what is wrong, I want to hear about what she would do better. People should make choices based on the best argument, the dogma of party lines.

  • That was a typo, it should read "...NOT the dogma of party lines."

  • To Wayne B. Morris County has been represented by dogmatic people for almost 30 years. If you place a value on positions and issues then you need to look at Dana's Freeholder races where she clearly took positions but you also need to hold the Republicans to the same standard. When you look at their record in office you will see that they have accomplished nothing and their main issue is that they are Republicans.
DAN GRANT, 13 years ago. Abusive? Report it!
  • I ask again,

    What is her platform?

Is she the best person to run for an Assembly seat and why?

  • Dear "Wayne B. Marek" (assuming that that is your name; if it is...then this is the very first time you have posted it in public...congratulations! ;-)

Dana Wefer has been running for office and has been involved in Morris County politics for years.

If you are sincere (i.e for real) then all you have to do is check out her website, http://www.danawefer.com/ where you'll find all manner of info on her political/policy positions and even some well made video.

Spend some time reading it thoroughly...and if, at that point you wish to support our effort to encourage her to run for this office; feel free to do so. If not, then that's ok too. Thank God we still live in a free country, eh?

If you actually do have specific questions on specific issues/matters related to Dana's political/policy positions...feel free to ask her directly about them, don't be shy. Obviously you have access to the web...send her an email respectfully asking whatever specific policy questions you may have.

In any event "Wayne"...I truly wish you well in your life's journey!

  • Why would I make my name up? I am just asking questions. I feel like a touched a nerve.
Wayne B. Marek, 13 years ago. Abusive? Report it!
  • Yes, "Wayne" you pushed the pledging over the top! Thanks! :-)

Have you perused Dana's site yet?
Please do. All your real questions will be answered there...and keep on "touching nerves"...it's good for democracy as it keeps the immune system of the body politic strong! Ciao fer Now

BTW If the shoe doesn't fit; don't wear it...check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_tr...

  • Wayne, it has come to my attention that I was wrong in my suspicion that you were hiding behind a pseudonym. My humble apologies for that error. I beg your pardon in that regard.

I still believe you are best served in your quest for information as to Dana Wefer's "platform" by visiting her site and by following up with any questions by addressing them to her directly.

If you wish, at that point, after having been fully informed...to debate her ideas/positions in a public forum; I urge and would welcome your participation at the bluejersey.net site.

People there are generally pretty polite if challenges are sincere and not presented in a negative/disruptive manner. (i.e unlike a troll)

    Be Well Wayne!!! :-)

  • Hi,

Please accept my apology too. Sometimes I tend to sharp shoot questions and they sound more blunt then intended.

I did check out the website and even sent out a question through the contact form.

No reply just yet, I only sent it out yesterday though, but, if the feedback/information sounds good to me,I can promise all that I will make a pledge regardless of whether the goal has been reached already.
