Imagine if your minister taught yoga as well....Cool right! Sage Vekasi-Phillips really wants to help teach us all yoga and bring yoga practice into his ministry. Since he is taking this year off from seminary he has the time to actually do the yoga teacher training of his dreams, but due to many years of being under-payed for his hard work organizing with Mountain Justice and Christians for the Mountains against mountaintop removal coal mining, he still can not afford it unless we all pitch in together to help him. The total training costs $2800 and is stretched out over a year. His goal is to raise half to make it possible. Will you please help him become a rocking yoga teacher / minister? He really appreciates it.

  • Sarah, you ought to edit your "pledge quote" (the "I will..." part) to include a brief summary of the cause -- on the top-level web pages for PledgeBank that one quote is all that appears. Look at your quote, absent any other context. It makes it look like you're a scammer expecting people to pledge $25, without saying what it's for. I think for most people, the first thought that will come to mind is that you're asking people to pledge their money to YOU.
