It's good for body & soul, cuts pollution & fuel costs, & you meet some good people & their dogs...I'm gonna walk anyway, but it's good to promote it, especially when people will be regretting overeating & looking for a feasible resolution for New Year/anytime

    I'm worried that your 'weather permitting' caveat might be overused :)
    I think you should clarify what is; and what isn't weather to walk in!
  • What isn't to walk in: blizzards, tempests, hailstorms, horizontal rain, hurricanes, gales, & heatwaves, though we still have to walk to the shop if we fancy some bread!

  • Sorry, I was going to sign up until I realised that I had misread the pledge, I read it as "I will work for 1 hour per week"
