Immigration Voice (www.immigrationvoice.org) has done an outstanding job of capitalizing on the national immigration debate to bring the issue of employment-based green card retrogression to the attention of legislators. Even though the time and expenses of Team IV go unreimbursed, there is no doubt that the success of Immigration Voice has hinged on a decision to spend the money on a technical infrastructure and professional lobbying efforts to get the message out. But this same approach that has been so successful has also required that Team IV focus considerable resources on fund-raising alone. As co-founder of a similar organization, American Families United, I know that what Immigration Voice really needs is not a one-time donation, but the commitment of a large number of people to be there for the long haul. So I'm putting it to you, the members of Immigration Voice, since you can’t vote properly in the next election, please vote with your dollar on November 7th, and every month thereafter for one year, with a small contribution of $10. Just like any other election, we need enough people to come out in order for us to win. I’d put that number at around 1,000. Please vote for Team IV with your virtual ballot here, and let’s win on Election Day!
