More details
I am interested in spreading the word about the use of video games for rehabilitation. If you are using video games such as the Wii, EyeToy, UDance or any other type of gaming device, please blog about it here! I am interested in knowing what you like and don't like about the technology and what we can do to make it better!
Thanks!!!

  • I use the Wii and LOVE IT! I love that it's not just playing your favorite video games on it, but you're actually participating in the movements with your hands and arms. I have Dermatomyositis, which causes inflammation of the skin and muscles, limiting mobility. The Wii, especially Wii Sports allows me to work out my arms while having fun at the same time. When you're having fun it doesn't seem like work. As for improvement, I think they should make more work-out games for the Wii. Also make a more grasp-friendly Nanchuck controller for those who have limited flexibility in the hands.
