The short length of this pledge is due to the fact that I want to get started on this as soon as possible and before the festies startup in earnest so we have a chance of an audience!

It doesn't actually matter if you live anywhere near London, I will be able to find something vital for you to do! If I can get more than 20 people to sign up then fantastic.

Racism is pants to say the least. The BNP have made some gains in our lovely city. Lets put on a night of good music, have some fun and raise some money for the fight against racism in Britain. Never organised events for politics before but we've organised a bunch of gigs parties and now I want to help something I believe in.

  • We got a flyer from the National Front pushed through our letterbox on the eve of the elections--this crap has to stop! Our area is so obviously racially mixed, so I take it as a THREAT when these people come right up to our door to shove their racist/homophobic garbage straight into our life!

  • Oh go on then you big outspoken git ;) As to what I can do to help, Quentay can play of course. We've got social/politcal material and (the magic word) gear, and a vested interet in saving the world and being nice to chickens.
  • In the 21 century I can not believe we still have to deal with issues like racism. Humanity, collectively, needs to move forward but issues like this will always keep us down.
