The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) was reportedly on the brink of a major breakthrough last December(http://business.guardian.co.uk/story/0,,...) when the Government terminated their corruption inquiry into BAE Systems' arms deals with the oppressive Saudi Arabian regime.
In the weeks leading up to this decision, it had been widely reported that if the SFO continued to investigate, the Saudis would pull out of their latest multi-billion pound arms deal with BAE.
I believe that the government should not get away with unlawfully interfering with investigations by the Serious Fraud Office. Luckily two small but brave NGOs (Campaign Against Arms Trade and the Corner House) are fighting for a judicial review of the Government's decision.
Court cases usually are really expensive so if you can - JOIN ME and give a tenner for holding the Government and BAE to account.
