More details
Ben Saunders <http://www.bensaunders.com/> is definately one of a kind. Between the ages of 23 and 26, Ben has skied over 2,000km in the Arctic, during three North Pole expeditions. His first expedition, along with Pen Hadow, was an attempt to reach the North Pole without resupply from the coast of Russia. In 2003, he set out alone to ski the last degree to the North Pole (and back again) - a training exercise before the 2004 Serco TransArctic Expedition, an attempt to make the first ever solo and unsupported ski crossing of the Arctic Ocean, from Russia to Canada via the North Pole.

In 2006 he is crazy enough to attempt to 'do the impossible' by WALKING to the South Pole and back. No one has attempted this in 93 years. To help his trip you can sponsor a mile with a minimum of $100. I want to up that challenge to $250 minimum a mile. so will 20 people join me?
