  • I will work on my petitions to the parliament of the united kingdom and the european parliament in defence of my fundamental human right to be elected head of state of the united kingdom. Perhaps republic would also like to work on petitions to the united kingdom parliament and the european parliament, petitions cost no money and may help the cause of republic, but only if the petitions worked on take the form of a human rights appeal because only on grounds of human rights can monarchy be ended, and finally please refer yourself to the united nations universal declaration of human rights which clearly sets out everyones right to be elected head of state.

  • I'll be writing to my Unitory Authority under FOIA asking for the costs of all Royal visits to Cornwall for the last twelve months. I'll then use that information on my blog and the local papers.

Suzanne and I will, before June 2nd, be contacting the local and regional media - radio, papers, TV - to publicise the fact of June 2nd as Republic Day, in the hope that they publicise the day. We shall be writing letters to appear on the day and contacting TV and radio on the day to ask if they wish to be interview us.
    2. We shall be resurecting our contact links with other republicans in the area.
    3. We shall be researching email contact with local schools, colleges and university and asking for debates and presentations within a 60 mile radius.

  • I have already written to The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent, The BBC, The Labour Party and The Liberal Democrats as well as joined debates on Guardian.co.uk and the BBC website. I am seeing my local MP regarding a seperate matter but will be raising the issue as well. I will continue to contact as many outlets for news as I can. I have also designed some T-shirts, but have yet to find backing to have them printed. I will continue to try to do so.

  • At last, after several months of procrastination, I have decided to join Republic. I'm not sure what special thing I'll do on Republic Day on 2 June, but I promise to think of something and to carry it out. Honest.

  • I will be toasting the good health of our Queen and be thanking our lucky stars we don't have a gruby politician as Head of State.

  • I will write about republicanism on my blog on Amnesty International's website. If I dont have enough time to blog on that day, I'll do it the next day. I will write about how I consider equality and democracy to be basic human rights. I'm not adding my name to this comment since I dont want just anyone knowing that it's me who's writing the blog.
