"I will implement a Geometry to TopoGeometry importer in PostGIS-2.0 but only if 10 other people will donate 250 euro."

More details
PostGIS Topology will go prime time with version 2.0 of the spatial database extension.

A Geometry to TopoGeometry converter would be the easiest way for users to get to full speed with the new support.

The new function will need to be squeezed in before end of December, or won't make it into 2.0 and will have to wait months before coming out.
