This is just *wrong*. They can add new characters, and change and update characters for a modern audience, but the boy Christopher Robin is central to the Pooh stories and a key part of the 100 Acre Wood. The original stories were written specifically for the author's son, Christopher Robin Milne, after who he was named. He should stay.
If they do this, I will boycott Disney products, including their TV channels and films for one year, and am asking you to do the same.
It is not too late, the new series and films are not yet in production. Join this pledge and help to save Pooh's best friend.
Thank you all,
Bob.
