I think for the week long pledge, it is really about awareness on REDUCING the number that we take, many of which we may not even use for rubbish bagging. I think for rubbish disposal alternatives, we may have to look towards the future of some change in rubbish disposal, a lot more recycling ,composting of kitchen and food wastes that are not recyclable (tho difficult for most of us, granted) and maybe biodegradable bags (tho there are some issues now with biofuels so there would be some contraversy there). That's the programme of this system and wasn't done by me.
