Hi Kishore,

You can install Pidgin to get all the other protocols, and Nokia is developing support for all these protocols using the standard client (still in beta).

The browser's based on the same engine as Firefox (gecko), and has a Flash plugin. Greasemonkey scripts that do not depend on Firefox's UI can also be used.

Not sure about Indian launch date -- ask Ari Jaaksi at arijaaksi.blogspot.com ? You can probably find someone on eBay who will sell you either an N800 or N810.

It's just based on how many people have signed up. The last word from Nokia is still that this is something for third-party projects to support, but annoyingly, even if you install Ogg codecs, the default media player still can't play Ogg Vorbis files (other players can, though. Hopefully including the upcoming Canola 2.0)

It says this pledge has been succesful, but I'm not aware of any news that Nokia is implementing support for Ogg Vorbis? Or is it simply succesful because X number of people have signed the pledge?
