True conservatives are frustrated by big government Republicanism. The CPAC conference (http://www.cpac.org/) represents an amazing opportunity to introduce college conservatives to a truly small-government party - the Libertarian Party. The national LP college coordinator Jim Lark writes that "At this time, I have not pursued the purchase of a table at CPAC, because I suspect the investment of resources will not bring a suitable return this year." I would like to see the LP grassroots take some independent action and not have this valuable outreach opportunity wasted.
I'm willing to help make it happen - will you also help?

you will get an email that is titled: "Signing up to 'contribute $50 for LP booth space at CPAC2007 and help to staff the booth' at PledgeBank.com"
That does NOT mean YOU are signing up to contribute $50 and work in the booth - it means *I will do so* if enough people pledge **$25**. You are only pledging **$25** if you sign this pledge. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
The pledge reads:
"I will contribute $50 for LP booth space at CPAC2007 and help to staff the booth but only if 58 other libertarians and conservatives will contribute $25 each."
and *I* refers to me (Susan), while 'other libertarians' refers to YOU.
Thanks!
Thanks SO MUCH to those who leapt into this Pledge. Amazingly, it was 'revealed' that the national HQ had been planning this 'for some time' and had gotten a booth - just days ago - and without consulting the Campus Outreach Director, Jim Lark. I like to imagine that they heard of our effort and scrmabled to grab credit - which I'm happy to give them! :)
So this pledge is **FULFILLED**, and none of you will even have to pay up! But please stand by for another request, as I want to produce some nice handouts for local LPs to use and will probably be passing-the-hat for that before too long :)
Thanks again!
