More details
Would you like a collection for your garden waste? Unlike many other local areas, Brighton & Hove currently has no council-run green waste collection for cuttings and leaves from gardens.
Many local councils offer such as service for a low annual fee of around £50. The Green councillors would like to see such a service here in Brighton & Hove too. Pledge here to show the Council that a garden waste collection would be viable in our city.
You can see an example of how it works in neighbouring Adur & Worthing, http://www.adur.gov.uk/docs/waste/aws-co...
Note: £50 tends to be the annual fee used in other Councils, but we can't be sure what the precise actual figure will be until we succeed in getting the service up and running.
