20 donations to help women get free mammograms
288 cups of food for the hungry
100 hours in a homeless shelter
400 pencils for schools
5928 square feet of rainforest(wow!! per DAY!)
66 vaccines for children
400 donations to Aids research
400 donations to the arts
20 pollution credits (dont know quite what this means but I am reckoning it's a good thing!!)
120 bowls of food for animals in shelters or rescue centres
400 square foot of coastal habitat
20 donations to childrens health
395 square feet of nature reserves in Mexico, Canada and Scotland
340 square feet of wilderness in America
20 square foot of Marine wilderness
20 donations to buy books for children

thats pretty amazing, I bet Superman couldn't do all that in just FIVE minutes!

and thats all the time it takes.

remember: at www.thehungersite there are 6 seperate buttons for you to click.
At www.freedonation.com you can click on each button TWENTY times! AND there are 8 seperate buttons for you to click.
at www.ecologyfund.com there are five seperate buttons to click

and all that^^ that is in just ONE day.
multiply it by 14, thats how much we can achieve in a fortnight.

  • I'm taking this to mean that if I spend the odd day without touching a computer (however unlikely that is for me), I'll tack it onto the end of the two weeks. And I promise that I will finally link to these sites TONIGHT!
  • Good pledge. I've had these sites on my profile page for a while, to remind myself to go to them, but the extra reminder is always good. My RSI will hate me forever, though ;)
  • Great idea... I've known about the sites for awhile, but only click when I remember too. This is a good reminder and motivator to do this everyday.

  • I wanted to add that http://www.thenonprofits.com/ is another good hub that lists many websites that allow click donations. Since it already takes so little time, I think I'll add some of the ones listed there to my daily routine.

  • You guys might want to visit another of our sites: www.HassleMe.co.uk. You can ask to be hassled periodically by email to do something (e.g. visit the sites opposite and click their links), but the interval between "hassles" is a bit random, so it's always a surprise when it comes!
