Shouldn't every US school district purchase one of these laptops for each student in the system? It's a $100 or $300 investment for 12 years. Think about all of the costs of paper books that could be saved. Also, think of the weight reduction in the students' backpack. If the student destroys the laptop, then the parents are liable to pay for it just as they pay for missing books. Then the laptop could be used by the student in college, or later in life. Eventually every person in the US would own a laptop computer.
