Spanning Sync is profitable charging $25 per month to sync calendars and contacts with Google, or $65 for lifetime membership (which I have). The business model works, XMarks can do the same. Oh and I'm unemployed, not someone earning a lot, but this is worth it.
I think $10 is too cheap because it's never cheap enough for most people and not expensive enough for those that truly value it to be enough in number to cover the development costs.
I've used Xmarks for a few years and would be at a loss without it. On my Mac I use Firefox, on my iPhone I use Safari. It is only thanks to XMarks that bookmarks are up to date on both applications and devices.Ian, 8 years ago.
