  • Unfortunately, i feel that the cries for change (that we are all feeling)are going unheard because we are not framing them in a way that makes sense to those who would (for lack of a better word) "oppose" us. Whether we call it Christmas, Yule... or by any other name; i believe that it IS the commercialism that should be addressed/abolished, and not the joy/inspiration that lies behind the celebration - regardless of what day it falls on.
    Myself, i choose to celebrate both; as a way of expressing the joy and inspiration that i still hold onto, which date back to the times of my childhood... because that is what i beleive in... the true spirit of the holidays... of spending it with family, friends, and loved ones... of enjoying the fruits of my labors, and especially embracing the joy of giving that abounds at that time of year... but, that's just my opinion.
