In this country political power comes from the ballot box during an election.
Political parties are too self-interested, irresponsible and entrenched to be trusted to provide the information the electorate needs to make an informed choice about their limited options.
The vacuous quality of the average party election leaflet, and the fact that this is all that the voters receive during a campaign, explains everything about the abysmal state of politics today.
I need volunteers to help design webpages and leaflets that are informed by under-reported Parliamentary events, and be willing to distribute them through letterboxes in the run-up to the next by-election. This is likely to be in Henley if Boris Johnson resigns his seat.
