• I don't understand the reasoning. If any artist gets a "deal", it will be a negative thing. It means that when we pay for Jo O'Meara's CD we will be paying partly for the record company too. Why not get the contents of that CD, burn it then donate the same money, and it will go all to her, not to some record company that only burns the CD. Now the case could be , that you don't have a CD burner, and that complicates matters.
  
  Sites like Jamendo have music that share one commons thing. Legal to share music on the internet , and to those who like that music donate money to the artist/artists. (creative commons license it's called)
  
  This seems more like we are begging for those record companies to get part of Jo O'Meara's money, while money could be directly donated to Jo O'Meara.
  
  Jo O'Meara might not have heard about creative commons or the site Jamendo. I've heard artists I like on that site, and if I would make a pledge it would be to donate money to some artist.

• JO IS ONE OF THE BEST SINGERS IN THE WORLD, AND DESERVES ALL THE CHANCES THAT THE MUSIC WORLD CAN GIVE.

• Going by Jo's Solo Album and listening to her vocals with Sclub I'd say she is one of the most underrated female singers around.I am totally behind this petition and ask everyone to sign it.
  I believe she wants to keep her singing going,I pray I get to hear here in the future,4get the girls past,4give and appreciate the ubdoubted talent she is..
  Due to the LATE!!! nights she has coming up, Id give it time till shes ready to sing again..Love you Jo, all the best 4 the future

• I think everybody deserves a second chance. I dont condone, for one minute, her ignorance, naivity and insensitive remarks as a black african person, however, if we look deep down in ourselves, we have all slipped up at one point or another. She just happend to make her mistakes infront of the whole world, unfortunately.
  
  I think we can learn to forgive and move on. Hopefully this will be a cautionary tale. I think she's paid the price, and let her get herlife back together.
  
  Please give her a second chance if you can find it in your heart. I'm sure, you can, if you try a bit more, each day.
