  • Can you boycott something you haven't ever bought because you happen not to like how it tastes? I do support what you're doing here though because I believe in cutting down on food miles and if British food manufacturers shift production abroad then they are sticking a fork in the ozone layer, or some it?!
  • thanks for the comment eiob
i suggest if you agree boycotting hp you should sign the pledge
you could also tell your friends and family about the pledge if they Currently buy hp. every thing helps

  • Private Equity Firms are the parasites of this world! They care about nothing apart from their fatcats profits

  • Why stop at HP? Why not boycott Heinz products across the board? They are the company that bought out HP - only to shut the factory shortly afterwards!

  • many other heinz products are prouced in the uk by boycotting them as well more jobs will be lost. if heinzs know that hp a once loved brand is being boycotted and sales are falling it would make them think twice about moving prodution abroad again on a different item

  • I used to have a girlfriend at Aston University I'd visit in the late 70's.
How I miss that smell wafting across the slums from the HP factory - mmm, I could murder a bacon & egg sarnie rigth now.

  • have not bought HP sauce since i heard there's too much of this going on too many jobs being exported and it usually does not make it any cheaper to the money saved goes straight to the fat cat directors and shareholders

  • Good Man Josh. I have also boycotted HP since it closed the Aston plant. I am currently embarking on a journey to find the best replacement. I have been having Cross & Blackwell for the last few months but am not convinced. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I will let you know my findings.
