Thanks for the overwhelming support and love for Xmarks sync services. If you can seriously commit to paying an annual fee to keep the service running, we'd like to have your pledge. If we can reach a critical mass of users, we'll see if we can't find the people and resources to honor your requests.

Also me is seen in the long row of all the other ones having missed the pledge deadline - and of course, it's absolutely no question, that this brilliant service is worth at least a small $10 charge a year! and no question, I'm willing to pay for that, apparently even more!! Keep going, folks - the good things must live!

I think the pledge did not reach many people. I was very sad that the service was ending and did not check the site. Xmarks team should have mailed about the pledge

Has anyone been adding up all these responses by those of us who'd be willing to pay but missed the deadline to be counted on the initial round of the pledge? Would there be enough of us to make a difference? Is there any news on a search to find some way to save XMarks? Or have the developers given up?

The last I saw, the developers were planning to sell their company to another company which plans to continue the Xmarks services. News on any progress on their negotiations with this other company has been slow in appearing, though.

I think I'll wait until they fix the problems with the page about subscriptions (at least when viewed with IE) before I buy any subscription, though.

I'm so glad LastPass bought Xmark. LastPass features are just as awesome as Xmarks. They are like my 2 most favorite companies. It's awesome they are getting married!!! For their wedding gift, I think I will spend $10 to $20. Hopefully another 100,000 people will also.

I have already signed up for the Xmarks + LastPass premium account! I had been using LastPass for a while too and I think they're the best company to have acquired Xmarks. The two go great together!

Just signed up for one year. The first time I tried, though, it looked like Google Checkout was trying to outdo Xmarks for Firefox in low quality error messages, by offering no error message at all when it kept the final button grayed out after I had spent about 2 hours filling out the forms for the earlier steps.

There should not still be messages coming in here from people regretting missing the deadline for pledging to subscribe. LastPass.com has been offering annual subscrptions to XMarks (which they bought awhile back) for some time now. Isn't there something on the XMarks website yet that directs people how to subscribe?

It's a very useful service to have, especially if you work with two different browsers on three different OS'es on three different computers. I would definitely pay 15$/year!

They've set the price for Xmarks Premium at $12 a year, and probably twice that to buy it with LastPass Premium as well.

I expect the password synchronization feature to eventually require LastPass Premium as well, and therefore plan to buy it also AFTER instructions for using Xmarks Premium and LastPass Premium together are available.

If your purchase method requires creating a Google Checkout account, don't expect all steps to work correctly the first time you try; you're likely to have to try again a few days later.

I went to "My Pledges" and manually changed the status to fulfilled after purchasing both XMarks and LastPass. BTW, I had trouble with the shopping cart, so y'all might want to look at that.

I received an email reminder to pay. I thought Xmarks is okay now that LastPass has bought them. Can this be clarified? Also, the petition didn't reach the goal. I'd be happy to purchase premium though now that I got paid today.

I have no problem with the $10.00 per year. From what I see though I do not need the premium version though, I do not use any smart phones or such. Just a desktop and laptop. I just don't know where or how to do this.

I don't have a use for most of the premium-features also (yet), but I still registered and would agree with Thorsten. I bought it to support a great product (even registered both XMarks and LastPass, as both are well worth the small amount they're asking for).

I just signed up for the LastPass + Xmarks premium subscription. I took a while to do it because I wasn't sure that I wanted to do LastPass as well. Now that I have been using LastPass for a while, I have to say it is every bit as useful as Xmarks, and I am happy to support both. Hopefully in the future, they will integrate the password functionality between the two, as it is currently a bit redundant.
