More details
Thanks for the overwhelming support and love for Xmarks sync services. If you can seriously commit to paying an annual fee to keep the service running, we'd like to have your pledge. If we can reach a critical mass of users, we'll see if we can't find the people and resources to honor your requests.

I love Xmarks Service.
I think the pledge did not reach many people. I was very sad that the service was ending and did not check the site. Xmarks team should have mailed about the pledge
I think I'll wait until they fix the problems with the page about subscriptions (at least when viewed with IE) before I buy any subscription, though.
XMarks to survive after all. See
http://blog.xmarks.com
which says:
"Today we’re excited to announce that Xmarks has been acquired by LastPass, makers of a leading cross-platform password manager. It’s a great opportunity that ensures the survival of Xmarks as the same service that you know and love...We’re also committed to keeping Xmarks free while implementing a viable long-term plan."
Xmarks is so important to me,
this is the best bookmark sync add-on on earth ever!!!!!
i'm SO excited it's going to live on :DDD
i'm willing to pay too!!! why not???
Please please don't go out of business.
Emailias.com is already gone without even asking for more money and it hurts, please don't do the same.
Please start charging money, I'd love to pay for a good service.
For those of you who have not heard:

See here for purchase instructions:

I expect the password synchronization feature to eventually require LastPass Premium as well, and therefore plan to buy it also AFTER instructions for using Xmarks Premium and LastPass Premium together are available.
If your purchase method requires creating a Google Checkout account, don't expect all steps to work correctly the first time you try; you're likely to have to try again a few days later.

@Peter -- we offer support.
1. search does not work
2. users which subscribe pledge will not get e-mail for confirmation
3. All Open Pledges does not work
4. Pledgebank is useless
Which is the "correct" official one?
Where to do this? Simple, here: http://buy.xmarks.com/premium.php
And I wouldn't see it as buying something but as giving a thank you for what you believe is a good free product and service. At least thats how I see it.
I don't have a use for most of the premium-features also (yet), but I still registered and would agree with Thorsten. I bought it to support a great product (even registered both XMarks and LastPass, as both are well worth the small amount they're asking for).
Я рад платить 10-20 $ за обслуживание Xmarks!
