Pledge “XmarksOpen”

More details
If Xmarks dies, how would you like to simply download/install your own FREE personal "Xmarks server", so that you could keep using the Xmarks you know and love?

Assuming that Xmarks is willing to release enough source code to become an Open Source project, I'm willing to contribute $100 and my time as software developer, and I ask interested users to pledge $10 (one time).

This pledge is ONLY effective if the current drive to revive Xmarks service on a subscription basis ( were to fail AND if Xmarks is willing to release enough source code (or communication protocol specifications) for it to be viable.

This pledge is now closed, as its deadline has passed.
