I'm committed to growing my own food AND conserving water in Phoenix, AZ. My goal is to gather my water bills from last summer (May 1st through Sept 30th 2008) and use 10% LESS water this summer while still growing a significant part of my own food. The ultimate goal will be to use 35 gallons of water per day per person to conform with Australia's new water laws. However, it will take some ingenuity for me to get there. So, until then, I will focus on using less than last year.
