  • I'm one of the "persons who did not want to give their name" in the signatories list. I checked the wrong box when I signed up to this pledge. I've nothing to hide, of course -- I won't procreate or add to the global population of human beings, that's for sure, and I don't feel any regret. Have a look at oilcrash.com to get to know some of the many reasons why I signed up to this pledge.

  • I will not procreate or add to the global population of human beings

    Regardless of what others do.

As I would love my child to much to bring it into this world.

  • Come on , how do we found a family ?
  • Anyone who's thinking about justifying having a child to themselves by seeing this list, I personally reserve my fair share of children and choose not to take advantage of it. If you choose to exceed yours, do so with a guilty conscience, because I want no part in cleaning yours. Rest assured, my share has already been consumed by past generations, and you are no more entitled to it than they were.

  • This kinda makes sence, I argee with not having a lot of kids but comeon, if none of us have children the human race would die out. Also this would make sence in heavely populated areas but not on a everyone scale.

  • Well, I do like Ron Paul. Hans show me some good evidence that overpopulation is not a problem and I will change my "uber-liberal" position. I don't expect to hear back, but perhaps you will surprise me.

  • Do It Old School style, Get a Childfree Vasectomy!
  • The population is always going to hit the limit. Sorry Oday, but just by virtue of not having children that consume resources you are making resources available for other people to have children. The only thing you can change is the limit that the population runs into, e.g. making it socially or legally impossible for the population density to rise above 1 person per acre, or introduce a predator, e.g. disease. Since reintroducing tuberculosis on a large scale is not a pretty idea I recommend you start a fashion for having pretty gardens with apple trees, become a campaigner against building houses in gardens and start a society of people who invest in an acre and a cow, thereby both helping the hard hit farming community and encouraging a charming ratio between humans and green space. Anyone want to set up an acre-of-hillside-to-have-trees-planted-on pledge?
