The Shabads of the Guru are done in Raag and music because music takes us straight to the heart. Singing opens our senses, opens our souls, and allows our spirits to fly. Decide that during this 300th Anniversary you will learn to sing a new Shabad that you have never sung before.

We had a Master-Jee (Pt. Manohar Lal) who used to come to our home for teaching us Tabla & Harmonium and our family used to learn to sing Shabads from him along with the correct taal on Tabla. Now, I am able to play and learn new Shabads on my own once I hear them on CDs or Internet.
He would live in our memories forever!
