More details
We need this money for a very specific purpose: the Westminster election. Lots of people have already responded to our first appeal – if that includes you, many thanks and you need read no further (unless you want to give more, of course)! And because that first appeal has been successful I am asking for more help to get us nearer to our overall target of £7,000.

We need to act before polling day - so we need to raise this money by May 6th.

I’ve been Robin’s parliamentary assistant for more than 10 years now. For the last three years I have been a Green councillor myself and my admiration for what Robin stands for has only increased in that time. Now that he is standing down from the Scottish Parliament in 2011, I am convinced that Robin is exactly the breath of fresh air that Westminster urgently needs. But don’t just take my word for it: watch Robin’s personal message on http://tinyurl.com/y2edhq6

At last year’s European election the Greens came third in Edinburgh East, our best result in Scotland. With proper resources, we can send shockwaves to the political establishment. But we are challenging parties with big-money backers. Please help us get to our target in the next two weeks. If 24 other people join me in making this pledge we’ll raise £1,000. That really could make all the difference.

Thanks, in anticipation, for your help...
