Thank you so much for taking the time to today to pledge your support for the RightToLearn Initiative. Together we will make sure youth raise their voices and that they are heard in the debate over education reform in California. We are thrilled to launch our initiative next week with the website, www.RightToLearnCA.org, and to be partnering with you among hundreds of other teachers, schools, and organizations across the State to cultivate and amplify the voices of youth. These times require that their intimate understanding of the failures of our system and their creative and engaged solutions help to shape the future of schools in California.

As outlined in this pledge, upon the launch of this initiative, thousands of youth will submit their stories on how to change schools so they can graduate with a quality education. They will identify the biggest obstacles they face within their stories, and in the coming months, they will be encouraged to devise solutions, and then supported with funding, technology, mentoring, and networking to develop and join local and statewide actions to make their schools better. This campaign begins this week with you. Partnering with you is the best way to ensure that youth take advantage of this unique opportunity to find and broadcast their voices into local and statewide debates over how to improve our schools.

  Just to be clear, this is Agent Handy (I'm also known as Erin Denny) and I work for YouthNoise.org. Right To Learn is an Initiative of YouthNoise (not Facebook or PledgeBank) we're using this tool on PledgeBank to help us spread the word and rally the support of people (hopefully like you) who are willing to help youth tell their stories and ideas on our site that's launching next week.
