More details
March 7, 2015 will mark the 50th anniversary of Bloody Sunday when state troopers beat voting rights marchers in Selma, Alabama. The event led to the passage of the Voting Rights Act. Unless Congress passes the Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014 to restore key provisions of the Act struck down by the Supreme Court, I pledge I will participate in a march or other commemoration in either Selma or my community as a call to action for Voting Rights legislation.

This pledge is now closed, as its deadline has passed.
