WE'RE GETTING CLOSE!!! WE'RE GETTING BIG NUMBERS!!! WE'RE GETTING THE WORLD RECORD FOR MOST PEOPLE IN THEIR PANTS!!! WE NEED YOU AND YOUR MATES!!
Started by the youth movement of MAKE POVERTY HISTORY, PANTS TO POVERTY is now ready to mark a day when, ten years ago, the fight against poverty radically changed and 70,000 formed a human chain around Birmingham. On May 17th, our record attempt aims to be another event that we believe will do the same!!
Join us to rid the world of bad pants and rid the world of poverty!!!
MEET AT:
Walkabout pub, Langley Building, Regency Wharf, 266A-271 Broad Street, Birmingham
How the stunt will work:
• 10 am: 200+++ people will meet at the Walkabout pub to receive free pants and a shot of whisky.
• 11am: Move to Centenary Square (in pants and fairtrade, organic boob tubes for grrrls).
• 11.10am people go to spaces for photo
• 11.15am: Press go wild. Shoot will last for fifteen minutes max
• 11.30am: World record announced!
• 11.45am: Pub Bar re-opens
