I plan to honor my pledge at both my local Woolworths and Sainsburys on Saturday, slightly ahead of the sign up deadline but I don't think it matters. I will be taking with me a letter, outlining my concerns, which I will hand to the manager personally and ask that they read it and then forward it, or a copy, to the company's chairman (see below for details*). It's your choice whether or not you do the same, but I personally feel that it necessary to present a written statement of concern so as to give the complaint some chance of getting an airing beyond the manager's first tea break. I will also aim to get a photograph of each event. It would be nice if you could do the same so we can get them posted on Pledgebank.
