Their Machine on the wall is humming and resonates around the room to an extent that it irritated me greatly even though I was only in there for 15 minutes. She is in there for days and is begging to have the thing turned off but the nurses say they cant. Its rediculous that someone who just needs some peace and rest is constanding irritated by a humming above there head - its making her worse. The company than bombard them with voice massages asking them to call a premium rate phone number. When they call, they have to listen to and pay for a pre-recorded message even before they are connected to their relative or friend in the hospital. Hospedia’s data gathering techniques are sinister and shocking and the company could be violating UK privacy and data protection laws. Get your money back if you get kicked out of the hospital early (which happens regularly), or if the system breaks down (which also happens regularly)??? Not a chance. I am also a cancer patient and was unable to visit her because of ill health. So could only speak to her on the phone. My normal telephone bill is appx £45,my new bill thanks to these robbing bastards (HOSPEDIA) is £265.00 I ntend to write to my MP, inform the press and the BBC. She only expected to be in for a few days,and they kept on saying a few more days, so she would have had to buy the £17.50 vouchers, which would have cost appx £140. These charges are to 2 pensioners, both in their 70s and both suffering from cancer.
