I made the move the 17th of June 2007, just in time for PorcFest. I came with only one plan: Wing it.

I am now caretaking at the Landing Zone in Grafton, where we just hosted our first incoming Porcupine. I've done odd jobs, made lots of friends, and I wonder why anybody would hold out. Just do it!

I am a NH native, have lived here all of my life. I have nothing but great things to say about the state, and am equally as pleased to see that other people appreciate our quality of life as much as myself and my family do.

I am a Realtor with the Keller Williams office in Bedford, NH. I would be happy to assist any/all of you with your move to NH. I will commit weekends to helping you find the right town(s) for you and your families. Feel free to call me at 603.305.7006 or email @ Lauren@NHHomePro.com. To browse a complete list of the properties for sale in NH, and find your next home in the Granite State...visit www.NHHomePro.com.

Thanks and good luck!

My wife, Jennifer E. Manuse, and I have moved to southern New Hampshire. We purchased our first house in Derry, NH, on May 25, 2007. We moved in on June 9, 2007. We left behind Massachusetts and all its socialist ideals and Oklahoma, Texas and New York before that. We are happy to have fulfilled our promise as members of the First 1,000 and can't wait to see the rest of you join us who haven't yet. Hopefully we'll reach that 20,000 number and can start to turn this country around. The founders are smiling at us, and so is God.

January 2, 2007,
I am among the signers of the first 1000 pledge and just got word that the goal has been met. This is a milestone for the Free State Project, and I commend those that have worked so hard in order to aquire this goal. I learned of the first 1000 at the LP National Convention in Portland this past July, but I did not sign until December when it appeared to be a lost cause. It's a long move from WA to NH, and I had to know I that I was needed before jumping on board.
Well, I'm moving to NH soon. Going to be a "Live free or die" tycoon!
So much for my paritiy of Frank Zappa's tune.
See you at the next Porc Fest,
Dan Goebel

Is pledge bank going to continue to receive new "movers" who may have been sitting on the fence or have just heard about the first 1000 due to news coverage? Perhaps January 2007 could bring in another hundred or more! Are people still being incouraged to sign up?

We are so glad the first 1000 is reached. We are thoughtfully considering the move from British Columbia, Canada. We're pretty sure it's a matter of WHEN, not IF.

We made it! F1K is reached! I seriously didn't think it would succeed in time, but now we have over 1,000 pledges! I will be moving sometime in late 2008 no matter what, but it's nice to have some vindication and positive success for PR purposes.

In spite of a very busy winter here in the most liberal place in the US (Humboldt Co. CA) where I own a business I just decided to join the first 1000 AND come to Concord on Feb. 22 2007 (to the conference) to get my first sight of NH and the Free State People. I will read some NH history, geography, and current news to try and get the basics. I hope to begin a new business in NH and become active in helping achieve LIBERTY IN OUR LIFETIME.

Three signatures were recently removed, as they were duplicates of older signatures that we were alerted about by the Free State Project. Sorry if that upset anyone so close to the goal, but hope you can understand, and it looks like the pledge might meet its target as I write this, congratulations.

All of you who have pledged here to move to NH as a part of the FSP - please also JOIN THE FSP! They are separate sign-ups. Pledging here as a part of the First 1000 does not automatically sign you up for the FSP and vice versa...

Thank you! See you in New Hampshire.

Nicklas and Therebel, yes, moving is likely a hassle, but it will be worth it being around like-minded people. NH, like most all of the first world, isn't entirely free (yet), but it really is "free-er" than most places.

Nick and other college students,

Perhaps you should look into spending your summers in New Hampshire? There will be plenty for you to do, and there's no nicer place to spend a summer!

I've recently graduated highschool, but I'm going to a world renowned music college. Once I get that degree I have no problem coming over. I signed to hit the 1000 mark and unfortunately probably won't make it by the deadline but hope to get there the first chance i get. I love nhfree.com nogodsnomasters.org and FTL. I love the no force principal and hope I can hold out from government oppression till i graduate college.
