Every year on the last Saturday of July, I raise money for a charity. This year, because a good friend was ran down and dragged underneath a moving vehicle, I will be raising money for Downed Bikers Association. They help motorcyclist that have been in accidents, either by staying with them as they recover in the hospital or help the families with funeral arrangements. They are a recognized 501 charity.
During the blogathon I will be posting every 30 mins, for 24 hours straight. There are some wonderful prizes to be raffled off as well.
I hope that everyone that has a biker or motorcycle enthusiast in their lives will be able to help in some way by either making a donation pledge of your choice, visiting me to help keep me awake or just spreading the word about this event.
