The Marriott is quite happy to have the Council On American-Islamic Relations (several of whose members have been convicted on terrorism charges - see http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/32) as guests in their hotels. But when the 'other side' - the side which doesnt support terrorism wish to do the same, the Marriott shows its cowardice and Politically Correct moral bankruptcy.
The Marriott hotel chain is refusing to allow an anti-terrorism conference to be held on its premises for the following reasons:
Peter Cantone, General Manager for Marriott Georgetown, November 14, 2005: “Your event is too controversial to be held on the property. This decision is based upon business considerations, as the event would call for heightened security since protestors might be attracted from both the student body and off campus. I’m concerned that these protestors might block the main hotel entrance, leading to confrontations with hotel guests and/or room cancellations. Our decision was made due to the objectionable content on your group’s website."

The website in question is http://www.peoplestruthforum.com/. It has strong images of Islamic Terrorism's effects which are not exactly pretty, but then Islamic Terrorism isnt very pretty. Is it?
So therefore I am asking for everyone who wants to make one small stand against the cowardice of the Marriott chain to hurt them where it will hurt them most - in their pockets.
