One thing I will miss is being able to download e-books onto my Kindle - I ahve found websites (eg Feedbooks) from which 'free' eg out of copyright books can be downloaded - but so far have been unsuccessful in working out how i can download e-books from other sites onnto my Kindle - if anyone has any idea ldo let me know ( I found a site called Calibre which seemed promising in that it can convert between different operating systems used on different e-books but was confounded by the DRM systems used) - still a minor problem really - actually feel liberated and free to explore other options other than Amazon regards Allan http://www.pledgebank.com/AmazonPayTax#comment_3495811 I've been boycotting Amazon since the Wikileaks saga. I used them frequently before this but had no hesitation in canceling my account with them. Their tax avoidance just makes me more determined never to use them again.
