More details
As a group, we are willing to give $2000 US to anybody or any group that will design, successfully prototype, and publish the schematics of a VGA output card for the Apple IIgs computer. If the card also works in a IIe (or II, II+, IIc, IIc+) that would be a bonus.
The device can be a standalone box, but the performance and quality of the output must be acceptable to all the people who have signed the pledge.
The designer(s) must design a completely new device, and not simply re-use an existing design for a SecondSight card, or a scan doubler device.
The pledge is not payment for this device - it is payment for the work invested in developing this device and demonstrating its feasibility and quality. By signing this pledge, you agree that you are not buying a product, but are paying for the service of developing the product.
